The Up

Josh Jacobs with 2 touchdowns, 93 yards on the ground and 53 yards in the air. When he’s on, the whole offense is on.

The offensive line. While the line wasn’t by any means dominant, they played together and no one missed time due to injury. Even though, Morgan and Rhyan rotated at RG, the line didn’t seem to miss a beat. The bye definitely helped Banks and Tom who never really played extended time this regular season. Here’s to the o-lines health! Salud!

The Down

The Packer’s pass rush. Other than LVN’s sack on a mental error on the Bengals tackle, it was pretty nonexistent.

The defense. The bend don’t break strategy is sometimes frustrating to watch. How many times did the Green Bay defense blitz, only to not get pressure on the QB, but to give up a first down on 3rd down. It almost reminded me of Mr. Barry. Almost.

The Cheesy

Jordan Love’s slide short of the sticks. What was that? Love slides short of the first down when he could have easily gotten the first with more effort. Also, why does Love always look like a baby giraffe when he slides? Cheeeeeeeeseburger! (Said in a similar vain to Haaaamburger!, shout out to Alonzo Jones) A couple of weeks back, he had that horrendous “slide” when he fell on his back. Maybe he needs to take some BJJ lessons like Tua did to improve this part of his game. I think he’s “in his head” a lot because of last years injuries and how he got chastised for trucking a defender earlier in the season. He needs to be more decisive and make better decisions.
