Is this the 2025 version of Howard Green? If you followed the 2010 Green Bay Packers Super Bowl run, you are not a casual and know Packers history. For those of you who are unaware, Green is a 300+ pound journeyman defensive tackle that was picked off of waivers in the middle of the season. During the Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was able to get in the backfield and hit QB Ben Roethlisberger’s arm that caused an interception that led to a pick-six by safety, Nick Collins. That game sent Green’s status among Packers fans to legend and folk hero. Or at least a serious trivia question for hard core Packers fans.

The Packers needed to beef up their interior defensive line with the season ending injury to DT Devonte Wyatt. Also, the Packers are playing the Chicago Bears this Sunday, where two of their running backs ran for over 100 yards each against the Philadelphia Eagles.
